Ludibrio

Ero sola… mi avete perseguitata… ero sola e senza ajuto... (ivi, pp. 182-183).

Ludibrio

What are they? ... They are what the people, because of you, believed me and still believe me, and would always believe me (...). Do you see what you did to me? I was alone ... you persecuted me ... I was alone and without help ... Now I'm lost! (...) do not you mean that you, yourself, with your hands, and everyone, all with you, have you reduced me to the point of accepting help from him? I know well what remains to be done: I have fallen under your war (...) (ibid., Pp. 182-183).
